Author and Illustrator

I'm Dulcie Robertson, an illustrator and picture book author living in Scotland. I create joyful, richly detailed work for all ages in a wide range of traditional and digital media.

I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2024 with a First Class Honours degree in Illustration. I spent much of my time there poring over old newspaper cartoons, searching for the perfect rhyme, and making puppets from unlikely materials. 

When I'm not illustrating, I work as a group facilitator for Dundee charity, Uppertunity, where I run cooking and art workshops for adults with additional support needs. With funding from NHS Tayside, I illustrated Mix It Upp - Uppertunity's accessible recipe book, designed to break down barriers to independent cooking.
